LET'S DANCE FOR COMIC RELIEF (February 2011) BBC ONE
"Let's Dance for Comic Relief is a prime time Saturday night show in its third series for BBC One hosted by Alex Jones and Steve Jones. Each week Britain's best loved stars will take to the floor to dance their version of some of the world's favourite and most iconic dancers. The viewers each week will vote for their favourite celebrity dance act, and in doing so will raise funds for Comic Relief."
Egyptian dancers are wanted to dance to a particular track for a segment in the show! If you are a belly dancer with top quality professional costumes willing to come along to be filmed on one of 3 Saturday night dates in February and March (to be confirmed) for a short segment in this show raising money for charity, please contact us at London Belly Dance with details of your professional experience, a show real/link to a video of you dancing, photos of you in costume & your telephone number.
As with all TV work, there will probably be a lot of waiting around and possibly an early rehearsal on the day itself. However it should be a fun evening out, raising money for a good cause!

Do you want to be part of an article for Boots Health & Beauty magazine?"
If so, please contact us at London Belly Dance with:
- a bit about your experience relevant to the brief above
- some photos of you belly dancing

BBC Documentaries - BBC Two's Wonderland series
"We are making a documentary about British family life for BBC Two's 'Wonderland' strand. This film will feature families making significant car trips within the UK & we'd very much like to include a Muslim family travelling to celebrate Eid. This could perhaps be a family travelling to spend it with relatives or picking someone up from abroad to join them in their celebrations.
"The idea is that we rig the family car (we can also hire one for the family) with small cameras and listen to their conversation as they make their trip. We'd really like a BBC audience to be able to learn more about Eid by seeing it through the eyes of a family. We'd like to find out more about the celebrations, what it means, what's important, the reasons for it and along the way learn about the traditions that take place."
If you're interested in finding out more, please call Rebecca Arnold (Assistant Producer, BBC Documentaries) on her direct line 0208 008 5587 or email her.
